Thanks Jasmine, it is interesting to note that chatting with friends has been around forever and will be around so long as we humans are around to communicate with each other. You note that chatting on MSN won't be around, but there definitely will be chatting!
MSN has created a very successful application by marrying their technology with an activity that closely resembles (in fact is the same as, except that it is technologically mediated) an experience that we all enjoy-chatting.
This is a very good example of Nathan Shedroff's point and our class project in creating the experience taxonomies.
